**What are you watching right now? How about adding some core work while you are at it!!!

The next time you’re watching a TV show, use the commercial breaks as core-building time!

If you’re watching with the kids or your partner, get them involved, too–challenge them to a plank-holding contest, see who can do squats for an entire commercial, or do bridges until the show starts again. Or if you have a fitness ball, just sit on the ball during show breaks.

Here are great ad-watching exercise options:

1. Plank – Hold for 20 to 60 seconds, maintaining the position for longer as you get stronger.

2. Squats – Repeat 12 to 15 times, doing more repetitions as you get stronger.

3. Bridge – Repeat 12 to 15 times, doing more repetitions as you get stronger.
