Here’s something that might surprise you: Studies have shown that exercise can improve sleep as much as some medications. Ready for another surprise? It doesn’t take much. One study showed that just six blocks of brisk walking–that’s roughly a 15-minute walk–may be enough to help.

One night this week, take a quick spin after dinner with your partner, your kids, a friend or neighbor, your dog. You’ll have a chance to catch up, get a bit of exercise and help yourself sleep better.
